Memos is an open-source, self-hosted note-taking tool built for quick capture.

It is made for the small thoughts, daily logs, links, snippets, tasks, and private updates that should be saved immediately without turning note-taking into another workspace to manage. Open it, write in Markdown, and move on.

Memos is privacy-first by design: you run it on your own server, keep your notes in your own database, and stay in control of your data. No tracking, no ads, no hosted account requirement, and no subscription gate around your own notes.

Why Memos matters
