Since this issue involves a bit more work and knowledge after all (probably should be 'good second issue' :P), I'd recommend starting off with #1698, which should be a nice way to get to know the code base.

Yes ,I have a lot of questions as I am just beginning my open source journey but I will not cause you any trouble unless it is something that I am not able to understand. I am improving my googling skills too:P.
