Brotli support is coming to Netty: netty/netty#10960 We should add it to the following services and clients:

• EncodingService
• DecodingClient
• DecodingService

As observed during #261, users can accidentally set timeouts inconsistently. A concrete example is that one can set a User facing timeout lower than any backend timeout, such that requests may fail early.

Describe the solution you'd like

We should provide some sanity checking to prevent unintended timeout behavior.

Currently, if you throw an error in the context or subscription.context option function it will just make the server return status 500 and a json object of the format {"data":null,"errors":[{}]}

i feel like it would be a good idea to respond to the client with errors thrown in these context functions.
