JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Bourbon lovers can raise a glass downtown as the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership brings back Sip’ for the Roses, a curated bourbon experience timed with Kentucky Derby season. The third annual event is Thursday, April 30th at the Rooftop of the Capital Club. It is 5:00-9:00
Sip’ for the Roses features more than 70 bourbons with experts on hand to discuss the unique tasting notes of the different drinks. The event raises money for the MS Alzheimer’s Association in honor of former Greater Jackson Chamber President and CEO, Duane O’Neill who is battling Alzheimer’s.
Steven O’Neill, owner and General Manager of The Manship, who curates the bourbon and Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership President and CEO Jeff Rent joined Studio 3 to share details of the event.
