A gradient palette is a color palette that smoothly transitions from one color to the next. Instead of delineated blocks of color, there is blending between the colors. ​

How do I extract a gradient from an image?

With the Gradient Generator, upload an image to automatically extract colors and generate a smooth gradient. You can refine color stops and adjust transitions to customize the result.

How many colors can I add to the gradient?​

The Gradient Generator allows anywhere from 2-15 colors in a gradient palette. ​

What types of gradients can I create?​

You can make many types of gradient color palettes including monochromatic (different shades of one color), analogous (adjacent colors in the color wheel), diverging (colors moving away from a neutral midpoint), or sequential (one color progressing from light to dark). ​

Can I make one color more dominant than another?​

Yes. With the Gradient Generator you have control over which colors are included in your color palette. You can also use the slider to make any color take up more or less space in the gradient.​

What types of images work best?​

High-resolution photos with strong lighting and contrast produce clearer dominant color results.
