Help with configuration

Hi, I am having some difficulties getting the plugin to work. I can see the "< ?php fire_plugin_hook('public_items_show', array('view' => $this, 'item' => $item)); ?>" hook in my theme's items/show.php, and I have configured the plugin on Omeka, but there are no items populating on the page.

Any guidance on how to fix this would be much appreciated. I have subject and tags weighed at 2.

Hello.
I've checked your example page, and I've noticed that the div with class "related content" is empty. I wonder whether it's an issue with the plugin configuration, or with something in the date of your Items.

Could you please try the following, and let me know whether anything is displayed?

• choose one single criteria, for instance tags, and use just that one;
• unregarding of the result, check also the "constraint" checkbox for that criteria;
• check what's the value for "Items Limit"
  Also, try reinstalling the plugin, and see whether now it works.

Thank you for the response. I deactivated / reactivated the plugin in Omeka. I then reconfigured it to the recommended setting (single criteria selected: tags, constraint: on) , however, the plugin no longer shows up on my item pages.

The "Items Limit" is currently set to 6

Hello.
You wrote "deactivated / reactivated", and I wonder whether there's any issue with the db configuration or the original files; that's why I suggest to reinstall the plugin (so: uninstall the plugin, including its data; delete the pugin folder from your installation; download the newer version of the plugin, and properly install it, acceptin the default data) and check whether it works.

Thank you for the patience. I was waiting for the administrator to update permission. I deleted the file from the server and redownloaded the folder here from GitHub.

When I check the constraint box for "tags", the entire related content box disappears from the front-end, almost like the plugin is not installed. Currently I only have two criteria filled: subject - 1.5, tags - 2

One more note, the plugin seems to make my page direction buttons disappear (ex. next page, previous page)

Please let me know I can support the troubleshooting moving forward.

Hello.
I checked again your page, and I noticed there appear to be 3 errors (2 js ones, and 1 GET; see picture attached); I wonder whether they are originally in the code of your website, or they are created by the interaction with the plugin. The plugin seems to be working fine on other sites.
Could you disable the plugin, and check whether those errors are still present? If they're caused by something in your webpage, could you look into them and see whether you can fix them, and then check whether the plugin works?

Hmm.. I'm not too sure how to move forward with troubleshooting those errors. I am just using Omeka Classic with the Freedom theme and I haven't done much customization of changes outside of the CSS. I'm not sure how to determine if it is from my webpage and how to fix it. Do you have examples of other Omeka sites using the plugin?

Hello again.
I've tried installing the latest Freedom theme on my test site, and the plugin works seamlessly. So, I don't think your issue is related to the them conflicting with the plugin.
Besides, the plugin does not use JS on Public side, so also that should be creating your js issues.
I wonder whether there's any other plugin that is conflicting with mine, or whether there is any customization that's been added to your website that's creating the issue.
Some suggestions: try disabling all plugins, and see whether those js problems are still there. Then, try enabling just my plugin, and see whether those js problems are there. If not, renable one plugin after another, always rechecking, until you find your suspect number one.
