We are continuing to work through the issues you have shared with us, and Patch #2 is another step towards making Corsair Cove smoother and more reliable for everyone.

This update focuses primarily on stability, addressing several crashes that could occasionally occur during gameplay. It also includes a number of gameplay, interface, visual, and localisation fixes.

Fixed several crashes that could occasionally occur during gameplay.
Fixed a crash related to the Hair Graphics Quality setting.
Fixed a rare crash that could occur when entering the Barbos Bay event.
Fixed ships clipping through islands around Buccaneer’s End.
Fixed crew upkeep values being displayed incorrectly in the shipbuilding menu.
Fixed an incorrect “No drifters available” error appearing while a Pirate Camp was under construction.
Fixed visual issues during certain event scenes.
Fixed the fire on the Pier disappearing when zooming out too far.
Fixed typos, spelling, and grammar issues in English, German, French, and Russian.

The Great lighthouse

anybody build it ? can you confirm that is working properly ? can you stack more than 1 great lighthouse to get the upkeep discount ? i build 2 of it .... and i dont know if is working and even less sure it stack the effect to get more than 50% discount on upkeep ......

What a great game so far. I can't stop playing it. This game is dripping with atmosphere and theming it's hitting on all cylinders for me. It's rare these days getting a game so polished on launch. Tropico 6 was a lot of a fun and this game is too.

I'd like to address some criticism's other reviews (i.e. 1 review with a 100 likes and 1 hour played.)

1. The combat system might not be for everyone it is simplified. It is less about "Cards" and more about resource management. You decide what resources(ship health, crew numbers, supplies) you want to trade for objective progression, or loot. The "Cards" are just options attached to your captain and ship that trade these various resources. Just because they are rectangular doesn't make them cards. Also the complexity increases as you play longer. (Read: More than an hour).

2. The roads and verticality work very well, surprisingly well. You start out with just bridges and ladders but as you progress you unlock elevators, ziplines, and more (Again, play longer than an hour). All you have to do is connect your buildings. You don't need to worry about traffic, viability etc. Just how long does it take a guy to run my sugar to my Rum Factory. It may look a bit janky but that's the point, its a cobbled together pirate den FFS.

3. Saying you build multiple bases across an island is objectively wrong. You have 1 base, it shares people and resources you setup various "neighborhoods" within the base. Each neighborhood needs to supply the workers and any ships that dock within it, food, rum, housing, etc. This is just like any other colony builder. In ANNO you don't have one Market that supplies your entire island.

If you are a fan of City Builders this one is excellent. Please do not read reviews from people with 1 hour of gameplay. Clearly they are not fans of the genre, which is ok, but don't leave a review speaking on things that are objectively untrue. I don't enjoy racing games. I don't buy racing games play an hour then leave long winded reviews saying the game's windshield wiper physics are terrible.

Patch #1: Tutorial Hint Fixes and Event Improvements

First of all, thank you so much for all your reviews! The entire team is incredibly happy to see how well Corsair Cove has been received by you. We are also listening closely to your feedback and are already working on ways to make the game even better for everyone.

This first small patch is the first step in that direction. It mainly focuses on fixing tutorial hints getting stuck, while also bringing some additional improvements and fixes.

Fixes & Improvements

Fixed a rare case where the tutorial could get stuck when closing the journey summary screen after completing the "Barbos Bay" event.
Removed all community events other than immigration events while the tutorial is active.
Fixed the "Place your Pier here" hint occasionally getting stuck.
Added a save guard system to remove stuck hints during progression and when loading a save.
Fixed an issue where, after returning from Barbos Bay and closing the journey summary mini overview, the objective would not continue unless the Pier was selected again.

More details about the save guards

We want to provide a little more detail about one of the fixes we implemented.

The "Place your Pier here" hint may still appear for some players when loading an existing save. We have now added a system that will automatically clear this hint once you progress to the next objective.

So if you still see the hint after loading your save, simply continue playing and progress to the next goal — the hint will be removed automatically.

Its refreshing to have a game actually finished and polished at released with the onslaught of Early access titles. This game is fantastic and pretty much a must play if your a fan of city builders

I don't know why I keep playing this, it is just yet another management game in a long series of management games. But for the past 48 hours I've been playing it for 28 hours so it clearly is doing SOMETHING very right. I'm enjoying myself thoroughly. A rare point of quality these days is that this game actually has a beginning, a middle, and an end, and doesn't ♥♥♥♥ the bed at any point. It is a solid, fun, experience from start to finish.

I'm having one of that tutorial tips regarding Resources/Resources Production on my screen for dozen of hours now, lol.... Can You Fix it, or at least give us the option to disable these??? Also, where is the bug reporting button in this game? Thanks

Huge problem for a simple missing QOL

WARNING: don't get hasty with upgrading Cannontowers

Just wanted to get a little warning out there for others: Recently i unlocked the tier 3 towers (not even sure what triggered that unlock) and upon looking at the upgrade window i saw only the same construction and upkeep resources (cannonballs and gunpowder) as the tier 2 towers. So being the hasty little bugger i am, i decided "oh cool, let's upgrade". The problem was, that the upgrade window did not tell me, that the tier 3 tower employs new workers, specifically once that require a new upkeep resource...
