I bought this game recently, so I had no issue with bugs or things that might have been reported at launch.

The system is very similar to Fallen Order and yet something is missing. That magic is somehow lost. The story seems a bit off, compared to FO, and the railroad of the first game is way more adapt to a game like this, instead of the not-so-open world that too often just make things longer and a bit more boring.

If you like star wars universe, this is for you. The environments, noises, action, music is straight out of a star wars movie. The exploring is fantastic and some of the fights are epic. The performance is another good aspect of this game. Runs smooth. Controls are good but can be sometime annoying in some of more technical areas or challenges. All achievements are perfectly feasible and overall, this game will give you lots of hours of gameplay. My only thing is the number of collectibles, a little bit too many and some being only accessible in destroying some little robots which run very fast,

A good Star Wars souls-like adventure, but weaker than Fallen Order for me and technically much more frustrating.

I finished Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the first time on Steam after 18.2 hours.

I played it because I also finished Jedi: Fallen Order before, and I liked that game. Because of that, I was curious where the story of Cal Kestis would go next.

Unfortunately, while I still enjoyed parts of Survivor, I think Fallen Order left a much stronger impression on me.

* The technical state was the biggest problem.
* Even with DLSS enabled, I had low FPS and drastic FPS drops.
* For a game of this scale, the performance really hurt the experience.
* Story-wise, it felt weak to me, especially for a Star Wars game.
* I expected more emotional impact, more memorable moments, and a stronger sense of adventure.
* The game did not give me the same wow effect that Fallen Order had.
* Some areas repeat too much.
* At times, the whole game almost felt like one long tutorial instead of a true next step.
* I do not really see myself replaying this one anytime soon.

No, this is not an endless game.

I finished it in 18.2 hours. If you focus more on exploration, side content, collectibles, and optional fights, it can take longer.

You will probably enjoy Jedi: Survivor if you like Star Wars, lightsaber combat, souls-like gameplay, exploration, platforming, and story-driven action games.

If you can ignore the technical problems and weaker story, there is still a solid game here.

For me, replay value is low.

I finished it once, and I am glad I completed the story, but I do not feel a strong reason to return to it. Fallen Order was more memorable for me.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not a bad game.

Gameplay-wise, it is still fun, and fans of Star Wars or souls-like action games can enjoy it. But technically, the game disappointed me a lot. The FPS drops were drastic even with DLSS, and the story felt surprisingly weak for Star Wars.

I hope the third game, if it continues this series, improves everything: performance, story, world design, and overall impact.

Recommended, but only if you can accept its problems.
