I love orsnage juice

I think 100% Orange Juice is the coolest game ever! What isn't great about a game that you can gamble in! And i think that it is great that it is also the first ever game invented and it's still popular! I think that everyone should play it because it is super fun and I think that it could be everyones favorite game ever it is the best by the way and I think that it is cool by the way and you should go plahy it! It is really cheap and if you dont like 100% Orange Juice then you are dumb! 100% Orange Juice is super duper fun and no one can say anything to change my mind. So everyone play 100% Orange Juice okay? It may be the best game ever and it is the best game ever play it now right now

Wish there was a mixed review option. The game is playable and fun, enough so to recommend even, cause you can ignore most flaws if you're a casual or patient.

Here are some issues:

1. Grinding / Progress / Unlocks
This is my biggest gripe with the game, literally had friends quit or give up playing as often because of this.
Here's the thing... In most games you either grind game-affecting things, or just cosmetics. In this game however, you grind EVERYTHING (even emojis) despite the game having a pricetag. It's a Gacha experience with the unlocks.

Each card pack costs ingame stars to buy and cards have a MAX 3 per deck limit (exceptions exist, MAX 1 cards), but for some reason you collect up to 9 cards each, hence the gacha / extra grinding. You will never get to use 9 copies of a card unless there's an event, but at that point they could just program the "limit" away for that event instead, lol. DLC's are bought with real money only. Bought DLC characters unlock instantly. However cardpacks have an added cost in-game TOO for some dumb reason. It's not enough you payed real money but now you have to grind them, don't forget you collect 9 copies per card as you open packs despite only using 3 MAX, and it's RNG.
On top of that, every cosmetic, map or whatever (aside from base things) are unlocked through the store, level or gamemodes. That as a grinding thing is fine-ish, THE base and DLC cards however, NO!

2. UI / Options.
There are some basic missing features that the game needs, such as, e.g. font/UI size options, less voice line spam (on specific characters), and deck editing in the main menu. It's kind of crazy that it's been 10 years or so and you still need to edit decks by creating a singleplayer lobby, which is a lot of menu navigation and nerve/time consuming.
They recently fixed some UI things ingame with the recent patches but some stuff like deck building in main menu or seeing names of revelead top deck-card, are still missing (would also be nice to have a discard pile for characters that use it, thou not that important as the others).

3. Game Lobby / Strategy Planning
The whole point of characters being unique and there being a deck builder would be that you have strategy, but the game shuffles your card into the same deck as other players at the start of the game, and you all draw from that deck. It's designed with card draw luck in mind WHICH is fine. HOWEVER, the fact that you can't select a character BEFORE building a deck is silly. Where's the counter play? What do you do if your opponent picks a trap character... well nothing cause you won't even know. I think it would be more interesting if the game kept the same deck mechanics as is BUT allowed you to see what characters people are locking in in the lobby, before it transitions into the deck building phase. That way you can plan ahead and change your deck accordingly to deal with specific situations or characters. This would obviously require card reworks.

4. Characters.
To start of with, there are slight powercreeps with characters. Especially base vs DLC, but it's intentional it seems since the basic ones are supposed to be archetypes of characters or playstyles. This imo isn't a big deal.
What is a big deal though is the stuff mentioned on the above (3rd Point) aka not having an option to deal with stuff during the selecting / deck building phase.
Also, some characters require certain cards to truly shine but, these cards are locked behind a grinding system, more on that later.
Another issue I'd like to highlight is that fact that there are characters that are just way too annoying/strong because their effects are too powerful, deny game mechanics, counterplay and last for too long.
A few of the characters are (there are more): Mimyuu (jailbird), Halena and Chicken (or any of the 1/3 or 1/4 star loss characters). These are just a few examples, but essentially their passives or hypers deny other players any chance of retaliation or counterplay.

Some examples:
If you are in the lead as Chicken or any 1/3 or 1/4 starloss character or you have 200+ stars, it is almost impossible to stop you from winning. Because you lose way less stars on KO than normal which is half by default, and you have near instant recovery on top of that. It can be seen as a downside since others can bully you but it rarely is in my experience. This wouldn't have mattered much if you were allowed to pick cards AFTER character selection, cause then you'd add cards to counterplay as there are some cards that counter these types of scenarios. E.g. A card that lets you steals stars when dealing damage in battle instead of a KO (card mentioned: "Dark side of business").
Another character example: if you are in a lead as Mimyuu/Halena in the end game, you just pop a hyper and you basically become untouchable due to the fact that their hypers deny 3-4 game mechanics. You become immune against many things (e.g. damage, ko, targeting/cards, battles etc.) and these effects last too long. Either for too many "steps" or infinite duration, for a very very small cost btw. There should be less "avoiding/immune" effects and/or more restrictions such as effect durations lasting only 2-3 chapters maximum or less steps (for mimyuu) depending on map size. This is already a thing with trap placement heroes, they place more traps on bigger maps and less on smaller maps, so similar restrictions should work for movement buffs too.
I also think that each character with "immune" effects should AT MOST have 2 immunities maximum. It should allow the others to play around your stuff. For example, if you are immune to KO's and boost cards, then they should still be able to challenge you in battle. Or if you are immune to battles and damage, you should still be able to get KO's in other ways or targeted by debuffs. This imo would've been healthier and more deliberate.
It makes no sense to get the things Mimyuu gets, which is "Cannot be challenged, cannot be targeted by others' Boost cards. Immunity to Trap cards, instant KO effects, and card damage from other players." You also roll 2x dice for some steps on top of that. But focusing on just the immunities itself, it looks silly doesn't it? To deny that many things in a game that's supposed to be interactive... where's the interaction or counterplay exactly?

5. Cards
There are a few cards that rarely see play or cards that kind of do similar things, which is fine if it's meant to increase a certain type of card. E.g. More damage buffs etc. However some are almost never picked or not picked at all.
One such card that I never see is "Star-Blasting Light", which requires you to be Norma(level) 4 and it costs 50 stars to play. That's basically a late game card only and is very expensive to use. What it does is: destroys all traps and deals 1 damage to trap-setters for each destroyed trap. This might've seen more play if there weren't other cards that do similar things for cheaper and lower level, or straight up avoid them. Some of these cards can move traps around the map randomly or grant you an immunity buff for one instance. So why would anyone ever really use this card?
Besides once again, if you at least went to deck building AFTER having finished the character select phase first aka seeing the characters others have locked in THEN it might have had some use. But... because deck building and character building happen at the same time (and is hidden), you won't really risk running an expensive dead card in your deck.
Also on another note, there are some cards that have a MAX 1 card per deck limitation as opposed to the standard MAX 3. The card mentioned above is a MAX 1 for some reason, yet is that costly and rare to use. Imo it should have it's entire effect and costs reworked.
I also believe that the game should have a use for every card, whether it be character specific or situational (map specific etc.). May require some work but shouldn't be that hard to do.
