Just wondering if there is any mods that people would recommend in making fallout 1 run/play better or to enhance the gameplay?

so ive turned in the water chip quest, and now the overseer has sent me to destroy the mutant threat. ive been looking around the game world for a way to progress the quest, but i dont really have any leads on what to do next. is there something specific i need to do, or someone i need to talk to, or will i just organically stumble upon the next step in the quest?...

im starting to feel most of you just like fallout 1 so you can hate on besthesda

The game is rly interesting and fun i think, but im a VERY new fallout fan (i have played fallout shelter befroe playing 1 but that doesnt count cuz like...c'mon). Also i never have yet shared my prefrence of SPECIAL stats to other ppl so why not do it here.
