Common dev frustrations
You spend a few days working hard on very specific validation logic for a business component. The next day your Lead Dev comes by and tells you that, sorry, but the functionality you just wrote we already found in another library and we trust it more than your code.

Soon everything is AI written so you wouldn't care that much I guess.
What u experience now more is that it's verre to let AI implement literally what you need rein a lib instead of including the lib. Less dependencies are a win.
The only proper response is 'Fine, fuck you then'. Indeed, has happened before. Somebody asked me to do something, which became obsolete because he then changed his mind or used something different or whatever.
