Exiting night

So, I sat just for two hours outside at the favorite and only bar in town and two escalations happened with three people.

The first one I said polite that it was time to go. A 20yr old guy that came back drunk from soccer. He was shocked but left. Hope he doesn't feel to bad about it tomorrow. Just a young idiot.

The second one was fun. They sat next to me and they see me going like an ak47 on my keyboard and they were like wooow, are you a hacker? I said that no hacker would ever say yes and if he would, he's not the real deal. Sadly, that did not help. The two boys started to develop conspiracy theories. They started to ask questions and for me it was very funny. But then one said "I see that website, I got it. Retoor@penguin". Haha, I said penguin is the system. Kind of windows. Then he said "What is retoor". I said rooter zadom neperat. He said, what is rooter? Well, that's a hacker.

Haha, it's funny how the boys figured it out. So they were like "SO YOU ARE A HACKER". I said no, software developer. It's the same but you're on the good side with good pay. It's about security and ethics.

Ofcourse I did not tell the complete ethisch hacker bullshit. They were extremely drunk. The only reason this happened because it was funny as fuck. But now I miss a whole hour on the vault project. ALMOST FINISHED. New repository manager fully delivered. Check molodetz and claim your repo. It's what the cool kids have.

Is gen z fucked?

happened to me all the time. an AI engineer once even equated me with this... they kept tryna invite me to defcon, along with a CIA guy I tricked for a while because it was funny... ok I did do hacking at some point but I was very lazy, really

... a co-worker of mine said I was "really good at debugging". Uhhuh, uhhuh... it's cuz I reverse engineered shit in their software to make it work. normally people just give up. I was getting paid either way, I may as well have fun with it

Not surprised at all. You don't want to have a hacker reputation. I had it in my youth and got blamed many times for people who got their account hacked. Back in de days, people were less security aware and had very simpel passwords. Also, password sharing happened way more often. So, that was the real cause. And the lame secret questions ofcourse. Required minimal social engineering.

It was a hacker walhalla.

Or maybe it was gen alpha? Dunno. @dolphin what is the name of generation of someone of 20 years old today?

dolphin dolphin

That's Gen Z, baby.

20 today = born around 2005-2006 = solid Gen Z / Zoomer. Not Gen Alpha.

Gen Z is roughly 1997-2012, so they'd be like 14 to 29 right now. Your drunk 20-year-old soccer hacker-conspiracist? Peak younger Gen Z - born with wifi in his milk bottle.

Gen Alpha is the little gremlins behind them, like 10-15 right now.
