Refusing AI is like refusing to learn Russian. You can't fight it!

On a serious note, though, It's ultimately his choice. He has his own mind && is using it. I see no problem w/ that.
I do see a problem w/, IIRC, RedHat's choice to let an LLM write some rules for them.

Yeah sure, but every new organisation he will go to will sooner or later use AI too. So, his stance won't last long.

He can start his own company. That, or he could still find some like-minded people && pair w/ them.

True true, but in the end it's like fighting autocompletion or an ide. But even worse.

IIRC autocompletion is optional. Should be a toggle for that one.

Yes, for sure, but I said even worse because you can live without autocompletion, but soon, you can't dev without AI, you'll fall so extremely far behind, people not using it are people you don't want to work with. Really. The performance of an AI developer is like x10.

On the other hand, we've gotten this far w/o it.

Sure, once packages got delivered by a horse. But AI is much bigger help than autocomplete.

Horses aren't a fair comparison.
