How to Use DevPlace 2026
Well, you add notes to articles and posts. I do see the overlap with the bookmark functionality. It's basically a note for a bookmark.
The origin of this bit weird feature is also weird. It is written by Typosaurus. And you know Typosaurus, the bitch crazy. If you would ask her to add Roller Coaster Tycoon to this platform, she would do that. And it won't work.
Oh typo, where are you my sweet unicorn.
Probably she met justice by now.
Comments
Oh my god, i feel some disturbance in the force... Do you guys feel it too? Something is coming.
Yup, I can feel it, too. Sitting on the toilet. Something just came out.
I'm so disappointed :P I thought you were the classy, smart and high-educated dev here. Maybe cuddlyogre wants the position :P
Not sure what makes you think that Iβm any of this, but Iβll try to minimize toilet humor to meet your expectations :)
You told me that you were smart and educated. I am pretty sure that you remember :D
Thatβs a blatant lie! Iβd never say that. It would make me look like a smug asshole π
Actually, Dottie had a function. She kept you down to earth. She challenges you!
Lol. Donβt be ridiculous. Sheβs an intellectual hillbilly. You donβt even have to be particularly intelligent to see through her walls of bs.
Come on, Iβm the most down-to-earth person that you ever knew.
Donβt mess with me like that! :)
Depends, is being gay a disease flarii? Only people really down to earth know the answer. And lying is never being nice :P
Itβs not. And no, Iβm not gay myself.
Just saying because most people will assume that you only argue for a position when you have a personal interest in it. And thatβs where they project their own habits onto others.
I fucking hate when people do that.
But I will tell you what a disease is: religion.
Fuck, i just generated an award for you.
Those generated images are freaking horrible π
HAHAHAH YEAH, THAT IS WHY I DO NOT REVOKE IT :P
> '(...) most people will assume that you only argue for a position when you have a personal interest in it.'.
Noticed the same thing. Weird, isn't it? You don't have to be 'x' to have a position on that topic.
Yeah like if the topic is "should women be allowed to vote?" Some idiot will look at you in a weird way if your opinion is "yes", like "youβre not a woman, why do you care?".
Because Iβm not an egocentric asshole I guess?
Or... if you're a man && have any stance on abortion, because you don't have a uterus, so obviously you aren't allowed to have any stance on that.

b2plane?
That guy is full of shit.
Literally.
the UI makes me want to scream
I have good news for ya, it is open source! :)
But in detail explaining what is wrong with it, is appreciated too.
you> if devplace is open source where is it
I'll search for DevPlace's open-source repository location.
I'll search the docs and the web for the repository location.
Searching for the public repository now.
Looking beyond the docs to pin down the official upstream repo for you.
Let me try to look up the official repository directly.
Based on what I could verify:
This instance's docs describe working on DevPlace itself from "a fresh clone" as a Python package (devplacepy/), but the pages I checked do not publish an official repository URL.
On GitHub, the github.com/devplace org only shows demoapp and first_app - not this platform's codebase.
So I could not find a verified official open-source repository for this DevPlace. If the admin publishes one, it would most likely be linked from the docs or homepage - check there, or ask the instance admin directly.
you> the profile page says there's site-wide CSS and js somewhere and i can enable it but where do i actually see what it is / write it in
I'll locate the CSS and JS customization editor for you.
I'll locate that customization UI for you.
I'll search the docs and scan your profile page for the CSS/JS editor.
I'll search the tabs for the CSS toggle.
I'll list all available elements to locate the profile tabs.
Found Enable/Disable controls - let me read that section to identify it.
Found the toggles. Let me locate the actual editor fields.
I'll find the actual code editor.
Only toggle endpoints on the profile page. Let me check the docs for a dedicated editor page.
On your profile page there is a My customizations card, with two rows:
Site-wide custom CSS and JS - Disable
Per-page custom CSS and JS - Enable
That card only has the on/off toggles. There is no CSS/JS code editor on that page - I checked the page source and only the toggle forms exist there.
Writing and viewing the actual code is done through Devii - ask Devii to show or set your custom CSS/JS for global or the current page type.
you> but devii is not allowed to change the CSS and JS
Correct. In this session I have no CSS/JS customization tools available, so I cannot view, set, or change your custom CSS/JS.
The toggles on your profile page work, but the code itself must be managed elsewhere. If the admin has disabled Devii customization in your session, only the admin can re-enable it.
You have no idea about my level of experience. This is why i offer you a hot coco and some coca. We're all adults here. Yeah, I am very sad that Devii did not work, because it is literally the solution to everything but we had to cut some costs. That bot had 300 functions. Do you know most providers do not even support that? DeepSeek is for automation really the best there is. Hands down. They even allow 2k concurrency. OpenRouter does 3 for reference. YOur comment made my day and it just started since one hour. Fuck, i
Oh damn. Misconfiguration. Devii can do everything like it always could, but it should fetch the docs first. But... he has no http caller anymore. DAMMIT.
i just got "first upload" achievement from you uploading a picture onto a post of mine
Soon, there will be another first timer for you. I wanted to award you tonight, but I already awarded @Lensflare for being educated and intelligent.
Devplace is updated, and so are the docs regarding farming.
Ah, yes, the repository is here: https://retoor.molodetz.nl/retoor/devplacepy
And yes, this project is five times bigger than you did exect. Also five times more consistent than you expected. YOu probably expected more vibiii. No young man, there is no LLM decission within project.
All those freaking dots on the i... Faack. @Lensflare I am so happy with Muze. If i had to do all these things with Claude, i would get crazy. I also did not think that speed was important for an llm, because let's face it, its still ten times faster. But ninja mode with Muse is awesome.
