!rant

Met up with a good friend today we go off roaring all the time since we both own hooked up Jeep wranglers. Well we got together and after a fun day of crawling (no coding 😞) lol, We went to eat and I pulled up devRant and kind of mentioned how much I loved this little app and stuff and why it was about. Well turns out that I’ve been friends with this guy for sometime and we never talked profession. This guy is the Vice President to a large scale software development company here in my state!

I was dumbfounded ! Lol all this time this dude has been in the same field and I had no clue.

    How could you be friends without knowing what he does? That's literally one of the first things you ask when meeting someone. But I think it shows he's a humble person that doesn't like to brag. Funny story overall.

    @jsframework9000 well we never brought it up! We’ve always just talked off roading and jeep. I’m a gear head on the side so we always plan this big expensive dreams about how are jeeps are gonna look. It’s silly lol but yeah none the less we never really thought to talk about it.

    @helloworld it’s gotten a lot stronger. He’s pretty cool. We just made a compromise. Lol he helps me learn more code I teach him more mechanics haha so it’s a win win.

    @jsframework9000 that’s how I saw it! He offered me a job for March if I wanted, I would even skip the application process just have to pass a common knowledge entry exam and have an interview. I think what makes it golden is that I wasn’t aiming for that. So I wasn’t trying to push. Like it just came naturally.
