This has been my semester so far:
Professor: "Please read this material for the next session"
*Next session arrives*
Professor: "Now I will repeat everything you've just read with no additional content"

I feel like this is a waste of my fucking time. I always read the material, because I enjoy the topics we're taught. But this is getting ridiculous... I have to endure it to get my master's degree though :/

    Enjoy your hard-earned, super-expensive, single sheet of paper. Better frame it so you don't have to go through all of that a second time.

    @Root Don't worry, it's completely free in Denmark. I even get money for studying, believe it or not

    If it makes you feel better, the more knowledge you have about something and the more familiar you are with things the easier/more will you learn from in this case the lecture

    @ramen there are actually a lot of European countries with public funding of colleges and interesting financing options by the state. In Germany you get funded by the state if your parents can't afford to pay for your living expenses (college itself is almost free)

    @ramen if you do, be prepared that everything is probably also way more expensive than where you live now.
    And you pay 38-67% in taxes, depending on your income
