    Can you explain what is so awful about JSP? It is just based in the same principles og todays modern html templating options

    JSP is basically just a web servlet, it's really easy to hack pages together fast that need to do specific things on the backend. I just recently set-up some to control/ compile and launch other normal servlet projects.

    @D3add3d don't worry, I don't despise plain Java and its vm.

    I prefer kotlin over Java whenever possible though.

    Fuck JSF, the worst frontend framework ever invented. Seriously, win32 API makes more sense.
