Another guy on DevRant wanted to make an RPG.

After 2 months of slow communication, we never coded anything, because he couldn't decide what he wanted the game to be about.

    @Trey50Daniel He couldn't decide that either. He said "maybe RPG maker, but every RPG uses that, so maybe something else. I'll look around".

    Game maker is nice for 2D. Unity is pretty good as well, but better for 3D games.

    everyone wants to make an rpg. I remember when unity became free there was around 50 posts per day on the forum with the title "I want to make an rpg, please help".

    @MicroNibble Yeah. I haven't tried out UE4 yet, though. Plus I like coding in C# more (personal preference).
