    Ifconfig is deprecated use ip.

    @ewpratten I'm pretty sure ifconfig works last night when I tried it because I was adding static ip-address on wlan0, I dunno how updated that os though

    On most distros, /sbin isn't in the default PATH for non-root users.

    Yeah, watch how fast my employer runs out and replaces all the CentOS 6 machines we have because a tool is deprecated.
