Got the question “How do I set a profile picture on Skype?”

1. Who the f*** uses skype today??
2. He calls himself a developer...
3. I was surprised he didn’t ask how to send add contacts in skype

Had to use Skype at a previous job to communicate with the offshore team in India.

Tried to civilise the company (and the colonies - eyyyyyyyy) by introducing Slack.

Zero. Fucking. Traction.

Everyone at my job (HUGE company, btw) uses Skype for Business. I don’t really use it elsewhere anymore, though. I have Discord for gaming.

@ZethMatthews It's not the same as Skype, different servers and infrastructure. Microsoft Teams uses the same servers as Skype for business.

@ZethMatthews Skype for Business is super convenient.

Believe it or not, plenty of people still use Skype. It's still got the most reliable connection out of the video chat apps, in my experience. Haven't tried duo though, I've heard it's really good.

@rjedlin lync is horrible for chatting. It's sometimes so hard to get a message sent and the chat history is a slow mess. I've never used video calls though.
