Oracle has banned an app in the App Store because it contained “JavaScript” in the name... any ideas for the new name for JavaScript©️?

    The actual name, ECMAScript. Since it's the the definitive standard, user it. Call it EScript or ES for short

    @athlon meh. Just use JavaScript. Deny their claim and if they take it to court, the EFF has your back. It's been in too much use outside them, and none of the current implementations are by them, so it'll be an easy case
