    @netikras no, those were still shit too. They wasted a ton of ink cleaning and the heads would report empty when they weren't.

    Star use to make good printers.

    But it *did* survive until today, didn't it? Given the resources, technology and knowledge they had 19 yrs ago I'd say it's pretty fucking impressive, regardless amounts of ink it used

    Meanwhile mine already shit the bed after 6 months.. welcome to planned obsolescence :')

    My 710C is also 19 years young and working like a charm. Ink is cheep, like 10$ for 700 pages. One problem is lack of USB, it only has LPT so now I mainly use 930 with USB :)

    We used to have one to, replaced it with a new one and i still regret it
