Ah huh... That would explain a lot, but how the fuck did this happen so quickly 0.o

    It happens, might be misbehaving. Fragmented it if it stills slows down quickly try a fresh install.

    I have never seen fragmentation above 12%

    Also: Get an ssd already.

    @JKyll Nah it's all good, I just do fresh installs every 6 months or so

    @Root I have an SSD, it's just my storage drive

    I've seen a 95% fragmented hard drive. It was an XP machine and it actually ran very well after we ran the defragmenter.

    How is your OS not installed on the SSD?

    Bloody hell, I haven't seen a fragmentation this bad since Windows XP. What're you doing on your system? o.O

    The only time that drive gets accessed is when I fire up a VM 0.o
