Mailchimp was valuated 12B in 2021 wherefrom 5.9B in cash.
Something cool about their marketing was that you could manage maillist until 2.000 people for free and it included a mailchimp footer. So basically free marketing and a mail sending service is of course not that expensive to run.
Another cool thing is, it's a company how it is supposed to. No stupid retarded investors raping all the shit. They were actually nice to customers.
Still they got greedii later and got punished for that.
Why do they never learn.
I'm getting screwed over by my not working Internet provider atm and I have to do a real life quest today. Yes, I have a quest. I'm so angry I can't sleep. The mosquitos that attacked my feet also didn't help.

I met some of the Mailchimp devs years ago at DefCon in Vegus (I think it was Defcon 2016?). I probably still have their stickers somewhere. They own a massive amount of subnets due to spam/noisy neighbor problems, just for their SMTP relays.
They have censored people in the past though. I currently just self-host ListMonk. I have a very small mailing list though. I doubt most of my readers even get the e-mail due to spam blocks.
