Microsoft Store needing my microphone... for what?

The other day, I had to purchase something on the Microsoft Store... This popup came up asking me for microphone permission.
Why, the fuck, would the Microsoft Store need the microphone? Come on... this thing is getting very insulting.

Yeah, it is crazy. For me it is very degrading if I have to make a video for the bank again. What the actual fuck. And now companies are implementing passport requirements and stuff that have the same degrading shit making degrading shit the standard. Just how reporting and blocking etc became default at sites now.

One of the companies to which I applied had this shit during recruitment. I was desperate for a job, so I went through that shit process... felt dirty afterwards, though.
