whimsical174336dTech newer than the llm uses is evil. I have on my dev environment one huge venv for python configured in my bashrc and configured my llm never to pin version numbers. Always goes OK. But some bastard decided to rename a variable rename extra_params to additional_params and that one breaks regularly. Every time I see it I'm like wraaaaahhj. I remember this from working as well. Someone just pushing this little change during some refractor and I'm like oh no, now I have to ack and grep the fuck out of this project. If I find it, I'm pissed, if I don't find it, I'm pissed, when I see it on production I cry. I took many times responsibility when stuff goes down. Stupid mocked fuck tests. It's better to have only integration tests than only unit tests. The theory that everything should work if every unit is tests is just not correct if everything mocked away. So many thousands of tests and break break break. Cypress was quite young then, uhmz, selenium was the hot thing we didn't do.

Me: "I want to work with modern technology"
Them: "Have you worked with modern technology before?"
Me: "No"
Them: "No job for you"
Right, so to get a job in modern tech you already have to have worked in it. Sigh.
