Office 365 sends passwords by email (and forcing you to change it).
All security considerations aside, it’s just easier for most people to understand user/password than “click in this link to complete your registration”

@NoToJavaScript also, most "complete your registration" emails contain a large button which is in contrast to the rest of the email color. The eye travels to it and the brain just sends the signal to tap it. No one needs to read "click this link to complete your registration"

@K4R71K Lol, no. It does nothing for normal, not tech user. Hals of time people don’t uinderstand that “save” and “apply changes” do the same damn thing.
You think people are way more “good” at tech things compared to reality.
We already had a case where a use could not login because he was clicking “login” in the fucking screenshot on our landing page.
