@12bitfloat What kind of language is that where the user who tries to built applications on top of it has to fix bugs in the language themselves?

@qTLz9XS The maintainers of the OpenJDK also have limited time and have more important issues to fix. But that's the beauty of open source, you can fix it yourself

I'm not sure if JavaFX is still used widely and if it is a top priority

@12bitfloat Yes I get that, but I also dont have a lot of time and the time I have I dedicate to building applications. I love Java and JavaFX but I just hope those issues get addressed :(

@asgs but what other options are there for desktop applications? electron which runs a fcking browser for every "app", some kind of c++ gui framework where c++ almost begs you to write exploitable code or c# which has almost no linux support
