Are viruses in mac like ones on pc, how different are they ?
I thought *nix doesn't have any virus.
So, Linux does too have viruses ?

I have read that installing bad apps on android make device vulnerable.., but that have to be installed by user itself ryt.., so are *nix viruses like android ones ?

@AbhijithM well frankly viruses exist for every platform and windows isn't particularly less secure than linux. The difference is that windows is used by more people and also used in general by the "normal" users which are vulnerable to things such as phishing and so on and that's why there are more viruses for windows

@liammartens I meant...in Windows there are just some virus just gets shared when we use same pendrive while used to copy file between PCs.. I just hadnt seen any virus like that for linux...
