IT Dept creates an update installer with a Message of "Your computer will restart now to install updates" with only an OK button when your in the middle of work with multiple apps and windows open...

I got an auto-update once, where it just stated "your pc will shutdown in 30secs, please save your work"
Gladly I just arrived at the office so that was no problem. But next time our IT guys get an angry call...

Yeah I am all about security and being fully patched but there are just some days (Fridays) where restart right now is not feasible.

well, on the corporate new MS Office update, I just cancel the popup, run the script that deletes the installation files and continue using my stable old version...

until he annoying popup appears again, I'm waiting until the last minute where a high level IT support person puts me on the black list of missing update laptops and forces me to update manually... maybe, someday...

@albertoabimelec if we don't install the updates our pcs are taken off the network after some time
