Probably a bug @dfox

I've been providing my feedbacks through the Feedback menu. However, I'm writing this issue in here just to know if I'm alone.

When I clear the notifications and refresh the timeline for new rants, the notification badge shows a number. But there is no unread notification when I go to Notify. This has been occurring multiple times now.

    @dfox i submitted feedback about this bug to with steps to replicate a few weeks back. iOS as well.

    I've given this a number of looks and I haven't been able to pinpoint where the issue is. If anyone is able to pinpoint exactly when it happens, please let me know.

    I have been able to reproduce it a couple of times, but not long enough for me to figure out what was actually wrong. Unfortunately notifs are pretty complicated so it's been tricky.

    Also, to add one more thing, I think I've traced it as far as having something to do with comment thread notifications which have a lot of logic behind them. Possible something to do with when a comment gets deleted and you had been notified about the thread.

    @dfox first, sorry for the report. For some reason I thought it said replyy

    Second, Ive had it happen between a combination of being on the notifs page and clicking an iOS notification.

    yeah , I have that too , so annoying , the notif badge just won't go , I'm on Android tho

    This is not a platform-specific bug. I know for the most part what causes it. My great, but the current workaround is to kill the app and open it again. That will clear it up.

    @dfox That's the only work around I've been doing since last night.
