Looking for advice, serious advices.

I work in C.
Also, I work in Python.
I have worked for a couple of year in C++.
I have a fair knowledge of the Data Science workflow, and some experience in Machine Learning.
I have tinkered with some other languages (Java, Ruby, Go, JS among the others, nothing serious nor professional)

I'm the kind of person who needs constant problems to face in order to keep engaged, satisfied, happy. And I need to learn new stuff, or refining my knowledge constantly, or I stagnate. I believe that this is true for quite a share of people here.

I would like to spend some spare time (I seldom have) in a project. Personal projects are rarely good enough to improve one's cv, so I thought I could partecipate in some Open Source projects.

Does anyone here have some suggestion about some interesting and satisfying OSProject, or some general suggestion on the matter?

It would be so apreciated.

    Your language background and knowledge sounds like my own! I did Python in machine learning in grad school and now C with embedded systems.

    There is an app called Top GitHub that shows you popular, active projects. May want to scroll through there..

    Got nothing too specific for you. Just do what you want. I think Moonlight DE for Linux is looking for devs. It's a pretty, lightweight DE. Light but reminiscent of deepin. Check it out!

    @rrmhearts looks like your background is *very* close to mine, as I write C for embedded and use python mainly for machine learning/data analisys.

    Thanks for your hint, I'm going to take a look at the Top Gihub app right now, and I am always interested in lightweight DE for linux!

    Hm, maybe this post is way to old. But I am working on python package which my advisor created few years ago. It is package which helps physicists to calculate some useful properties of open quantum systems Code style is B+, we have only 39% coverage, but every little help will be welcomed.
