@linuxxx I've got Linux mint on my laptop lol, already broke and fixed things (was most of my day yesterday spent googling how to get my WiFi to work lol) now my GPU has issues where if I shut off my screen and wake it up I get a GPU fell off the bus message lol

@linuxxx completely irrelevant to the rant: do any of your people know how to get rid of screen tearing? installed debian and can't find any fix for this crap that doesn't involve getting rid of the proprietary amd driver which I need for webgl to run

@DirtyBit according to the first link from Google (lol, I'm the best at research) for gaming performance and point release distribution then Nvidia proprietary drivers but for rolling distribution or anything outside of gaming has various factors.
Though not 100% sure what rolling distribution means (I assume latest release)

Oh yeah my parents are going to the phillipines in Febuary. I was speculating going but, I just landed a VR game job, that are planning to release on the 1st of April. Which is the day I would have gotten back lol
