I NEED MY SLEEP FFS!!! It is 06:20 in the morning and I am already on the train to work because one of our managers felt the need to plan a meeting from 08:00 on monday morning to explain EXACTLY why something does not work.
Needless to say that she is no dev (or has technical know how)!
But the best part is:
THE INVITATION FOR THE MEETING WAS SEND OUT FRIDAY EVENING SO THERE IS NO PREPARATION-TIME WHATSOEVER!!!

Heh management. Its our duty to come and save them from time to time. The worst thing is when they don't fight for you and simply bend over for the client so they can get the sell.

I was living in Denver and got assigned to help with QA and documentation for a project run by an East coast office. The meeting to get me involved was rescheduled no less than 5 times, and always for early morning east coast time, so I'd get up and drag my ass to the office, just to find a meeting cancellation.

Eventually the invites stopped coming. Never did find out if the project was released or cancelled.
