Just noticed YouTube got inspired by porn video sites and now they are showing very short preview of video on thumbnail hover.

Nice but not that useful feature for non porn video site.

Honestly, really relived I wasn't the only one that went "Holy shit YouTube has that PH feature now!"

Apparently kink.com used to do consulting work with MSNBC et. al. under the table when all those news networks were trying to get into streaming media for the first time. Porn companies tend to be *way* ahead of the curve on information technology trends.

@matsaki95 not at all.. It seems to be just 2 sec preview from random random part of video. I won't be surprised if they have provided uploaders control on which part to preview to take clickbait thumbnail to the next level..
