I'm CONVINCED mosquitos target sweaty people

    They do get attracted towards certain types of people. Not sure if it's sweat that decides that.

    I could probably look this up, I college, a chemistry teacher told us being overweight and eating bananas can make you a magnet for mosquitos. In hot weather, fat people sweat more (chemical in bananas acts as an attractant), breath heavier and the extra heat+CO2, the little monster's radar will seek you out.

    Yep they're attracted to BO (body odor):

    @Demolishun no, use xml instead

    Fat people breathe harder, expelling more CO2, which is what the little buggers use to find prey from a distance. Up close they’re attracted to heat, and fat/sweaty people tend to be hotter. Thus: more mosquitos!

    @Sid2006 maybe sweat amplifies certain smells that insects favor?
