Oh my motherfucking God...
How the fuck can a dumb IDE be so fucking slow? I entered the office at 8:15. And I am still unable to checkout a motherfucking previous version of an android app in git and get Android studio to build it, because the fucking gradle is so damn slow it freezes the GUI. WHAT. THE. FUCK. Android studio get you shit together and maybe, just maybe don't be such a dick!!!

You need 5 min to open that project and another 10 to build it ONLY FOR ME TO REALIZE THAT I HAVE TO REPEAT THAT WHOLE PROCEDURE BECAUSE I NEED A DIFFERENT APP VERSION FROM THE GIT REPO FUCK YOU YOU SHITFACED STUPID COCKSUCKING CUNT, SHIT FUCK ARRRRGH!!!

    Oh yeah and I had to repeat the procedure about 6-8 times because the project didn't build and I tried different Android studio versions and the whole thing froze multiple times.

    Now it seems to work. Still had to blow some steam off to not punch my monitor.

    Eclipse might be a solution. Otherwise: maybe you want to consider more ram in your machine?

    The reason I went from WebStorm back to Atom. Atom is supposed to be memory hungry too

    Same shit here, even 8 GB ram isn't enough still freezes sometimes 😑

    Yeah I have 8GB RAM too and sometimes Android studio freezes for minutes.

    But to be fair Android Studio 3 Beta is on average faster than its predecessor.

    It drives me crazy sometimes but I understand how it works in and out (90%) so it would be a bother switching it because of the occasional UI freeze. When you don't do anything crazy with it (like switching branches when gradle is running) it's pretty good.
    Like I said, had to vent a little because otherwise I would have ranted in real life (which I did a little but not that much) and all the swear words would have been inappropriate xD

    yeah fuck that shit. I'm writing this shit now while the fuckin gradle is building my app for over 31 minutes now. My RAM is 16 and it isn't enough for that piece o'shit. sometimes I consider buying new workstation just to be able to build and test faster. Fuck you Android Studio.
