Anyone know what identity this is?

(a+b)/(1/(a-b)) == a^2 - b^2

    I learnt that as binomial theorems in 7th grade math.

    (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b² (first theorem)

    (a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b² (second theorem)

    (a + b)*(a -b) = a² - b² (third theorem, just get the (a-b) term out of the pointless double division in your case)

    Just for the record, they are Newton's binomial theorems.

    Thanks fastnop and core!

    7th grade math in the inner city unfortunately did not teach binomials.
