Serious question: why would they even care what drugs you take? As long as you do a good job?

I in one of my jobs, I met the CTO a few days before I started working there, and he explained why he likes MDMA and another drug with a name I can't recall rather than coke, at which point one of the other executives intervened and said coke is much better.
