@Qaldim won't really do anything, he has all the authority to refuse the closing of the thesis, thanks to the fact that in absolute times usually a thesis lasts a year (with courses to attend and exams to do). My thesis only lasted 8 months but I've been working full time 10 hours a day Monday to Friday (literally almost double the amount of work of a standard thesis) since I was ahead in classes. I just fucking have to swallow like a bitch.
