Don't forget to do a carbon dating analysis.
It may unwind lots of information about the past and the evolution of earth.

That's not a simple floppy. Press it, you'll save the world!

    But be careful!
Some hacker could have been dropping infected floppy disks!

@okkimus people get AIDS from abandoned syringes, we get viruses from abandoned floppy disks. Welcome to DevRant by the way!

Alex, that’s honestly such a cool discovery! And believe it or not, places that are residential now may have been ancient seabeds thousands or millions of years ago—so don’t write it off just yet! I once found a fossilized plant imprint in my garden while digging for a new window well, and it ended up being from the Devonian period. If you’re planning to do any more outdoor renovations—digging, landscaping, etc.—you might discover even more. Also, random tip: when I updated my basement windows last year, I used this site https://vinyllight.ca/ —they were super reliable, especially for homes with unpredictable ground layers like mine. Let us know what the museum says about your fossil!
