Me: "This looks awfully familiar..."

"Senior Developer": "Well, I took some inspiration from your apps"

Me: "No, you copied and pasted all of it, down to my breadcrumbs..."

Senior Developer: "No, I only made it LOOK like yours, I didn't copy any of your code..."

Really?! REALLY?!

Mine's up top, his is below. He's right, that dark blue makes it totally his own design and work.

Not to sound like an ass but it is a simple design. It wouldn't be hard to recode something to look like that. But I don't understand why he took a working design and made it hidious.

Reminds me of when I did agency work. I would submit the, in my opinion, finished product. But the PM would give that to another dev for "polishing". But that polished result was more like throwing a chainsaw tornado in a car accident when 5 minutes prior it was a clean/working design.

Prefer your version, lot easier on the eyes, hate when stuff is stretched across the whole screen, it's all about proper use of space!

@baconface, yeah, it's simple and I didn't create the most intricate design, so I get your point. He's just notorious for being a shit developer and lied straight to my face. I know he copied my code because I saw my comments and my app-specific methods in his code! This is the guy that most of my rants are about. >:(
