I never understood bodybuilders. Seems to me like a completely pointless waste of time.

I had a friend in school who was lifting, running and whatnot daily. Huge biceps he had. Huuge. But somehow they were hardly any stronger than my fatty ones [I always was chubby; never attended a gym; did some matrial arts]

once we were camping with that friend. Went out to get some timber. Voices in my head told me to climb/slide up one branchlesd thin tree. One-two and I'm hanging ~2 meters above the ground. Then my friend tried to show off his body strength and he could hardly slide 20cm [2 hands' repositions]

+ in the matrial arts trainings his hands were much slower thsn mine

after those incidents I'm convinced that bodybuilding is only good for the looks. After 9+4 hours of a work day I see no point in spending another 3 for a gym, for the looks I don't really need.

    I'm a codebuilder, not a bodybuilder :)

@King of Lithuania what’s the point of climbing up two meters into a tree?
what’s the point of lifting up 100kg?

Both are pointless in and of themselves but both could potentially have their purposes depending on the situation.

(I’m not a "body builder" myself although I do fitness exercises as a way of staying in shape)

@King of Lithuania body building is silly, and full of drug abuse. But working out seriously is not, it is one of the best things you can do for your body. I spend 4 hours a week on it, and it also made me improve my nutrition. Quality of life is improved in general, in a lot of ways.
You just have to be careful to not become obsessed with looking like a comic book hero.

    Also, bae what’s ur squat?

@King of Lithuania I agree. Bodybuilding is purely for astetics. Martial arts on the other hand brings tons of great benefits. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle while working 9-5 in front of a screen (:

Yes, and you’ll love this one — it’s thorough, engaging, and full of examples. The article at https://hindiwow.com/from-stadium-t... tells the story of IPL’s digital journey. It covers everything: how the fan base expanded, how mobile usage skyrocketed, and how brands and platforms evolved to keep up with the pace. It’s a must-read if you want to understand the full scope of how IPL viewing habits transformed.
