1. How many active people do we have on this platform?
2. Why don't we do something together as it would grow quickly and all of us could retire in 3 months?

    2. Because more is not better and we have pretty different goals

    @YourMom I don’t get it

    @Lensflare I don't know. Throwing out stupid ideas for the enterprise. Just seemed like a funny meme format.

    This is why this is probably not a good idea.

    @YourMom I like my cat ears though

    @YourMom I thought he builds and I'm his disparaging project manager 😁

    @Lensflare is furry curious then...

    @YourMom I never knew that I am until now

    @Lensflare you can explore this by playing a khajiit in a TES game.

    @YourMom as a matter of fact, I did play a Khajiit in Oblivion Remastered

    1. Yes.
    2. Well, it's more a lack of ideas to monetize than some other issues. I think I'm a bit pessimistic in online entrepreneurship because I'm not a big consumer myself. I only do most mainstream ais and YouTube premium, besides that, nothing. I can think of nothing that would make life better. It's good already.

    @tamagotchi I don't even do that

    and i pirate everything or get it open source

    other than food and rent and drugs and some physical lamps and cleaning products

    people can't just whip up and write code but the thing is programmers notice problems others think of as problems so some exoteric thing ends up useful for mother programmers instead of normies

    the other thing is turns out to sell anything useful to people you have to deal with the law and licensing. unless you're just gonna propagate some kind of knowledge like a school

    like Netflix might have a shit interface but you can't compete because you can't pay 100 million for the rights to play a movie like they can

    same thing with music streaming

    so then you may as well just run an advertising blog for similar effects. or make popcorn time and be free. or rabbit.tc which allowed multiple people ina chatroom to all watch movies or YouTube together... but licensing, sigh

    even Google maps they put in the terms of agreement that you cannot cache their map results. how stupid is that? it's because they charge outrageously for map queries.

    and then if you have stuff like open source weather data... well first off I don't even know where the API for it is even tho your tax money is paying for it. and there's already 500+ ad-infested weather apps using it. so I wanted to find the data so I can just not have ads but I have too much useless stuff that doesn't make money to do and I could never crack the money problem because everyone is trying to crack the money problem all the time I guess

    but I don't mean to dishearten. I'd love to be made to feel stupid on this because the payoff would be great

    best I got is using APIs someone exposed for purposes that don't align with their intentions and then I get something personally useful out of it 🤷, but legally I can't sell that and also everybody tries to shut me down all the time which is annoying. alas

    could make a video game I guess

    could make a music generator (and get no money even worse than the game thing)
