It is 3:20AM.

Introducing: The first release of youRant (pronounced 'Your Rant', not 'You Rant'), and in case you missed my previous posts - it's an unofficial third party devRant Android client. The MVP version is done, you can scroll the feed, view rants(& comments), you can log in, and you can post rants and comments. That is the sum all of what you can do as of now, but I consider that to be the absolute minimal set of features to use devRant in any capacity.

The app uses dr.molodetz.nl for api calls (because of the cerificate expiry).
Authentication tokens(for login) are stored encrypted, so even though the app is in alpha the tokens are stored securely so at least from that POV there's no need to worry.

The app can be downloaded from: https://github.com/yuriKhordal/... - There is an APK in the Releases page, and there are some pictures (if you want to look at the progress but don't want to use something is such early stages) in the Readme. I have no clue how to publish shit on Google Play, so currently the github is the only source for installing the app.

    Nice, commenting from the app now. But upvoting / downvoting is really essential for using it. I think it would look better without () around ++ and -- or is that since it doesn't work yet. I like the resolution you choose. Works nice on my old phone. Happy that it doesn't require the latest cameltech. I expect that it will go quite hard when you've finished so far already. Cool job!

    00:42 would've been cool too. Or 5:12 or 2:56, or 1:28 or 0:32 or 0:16 or 0:08 or 0:04 or 0:02 but not 0:01.

    @SoldierOfCode In case you haven't noticed, yet, a fun 'feature'. You can enter the 'Log In' menu multiple times by tapping the icon of a person in top right corner of the screen.

    Creates a small hell when you want to go back using the '<-' back arrow, or Back button... because you need to go back the same amount of times you've entered the menu.

    Congrats, it's always awesome to get to a release, but since you brought it up...

    The letters you used for the name would be pronounced "you rant" or "your ant". If you wanted it to be Your Rant, then you should have spelled it that way. Similarly, gif does not rhyme with jiff and the plural of lego is in fact legos. ;)

    If you could tell where or how you encountered the bug (So I'll know where to look), that would be great

    Either here or as an Issue on github would be fine

    @D-4got10-01 Oh, I see it now, the login icon should not be visible on the login page, that's weird.
    It wasn't visible on the login page before .-.

    I'll check it out later.

    @SoldierOfCode I see you got it. Yeah, when you're on the 'Log In' page, the icon to go to that page isn't needed, so hiding it is a good idea, indeed.
