/* But the components... yes, make their prices reasonable, once more. */ -
jestdotty611349dtech companies saved all their tax evaded, extremely high margin profits for 50 years and finally have something to spend all that money on
so probably not anytime soon -
whimsical174349dI love the AI stuff, made me so happy. The challenge to vibe decent stuff is real. The claude models are insane, can execute tasks for four hours. Koekoek.
Perplexity showing serious cracks. It became 98% more expensive. We went from 600 deepsearches per day to 25 a month. A MONTH. That means you're paying 80 cents for every deepsearch. It's crazy, there must be something serious going on that they've bricked their product so hardcore. Their marketing strategy is also crazy. They gave away the product for free for a year and all those people do not even understand the software (based on reddit posts) and are only complaining. They bought a bunch of dickheads. Perplexury WAS amazing. Now, I've my own deepsearch telegram bot and it's answers to the questions is graded 9.5. Take that perplexity. -
CaptainRant483649dOn a more constructive note: yes, I think a lot of us - especially in corporate - are tired of the A.I. craze. Leadership team constantly nags us about it and overuses the term. I would even count how many times the term is used in a day in a corporate setting, even more so at big meetings. lmao -
jestdotty611349d... one of the companies I invested in just sent me a promo email and it's written by AI. I'm meaning to actually read it and see how hard they botched this but quite honestly I should probably sell at this stage because this is too dumb to recover. they're consumer-facing. there's no reason to do this, their product is not content. and yet they are -
whimsical174347d@jestdotty soon, you'll be blind for it and swallow EM dash like there's no tomorrow. I still don't understand how the EM dash became some dominant. I did see some explanation but I doubted it. Also funny that many of them having the "issue". They're all using the same base I guess and it's pretty dominant it seems.

whimsical174347d@whimsical deepsearch gives several reasons. Before, I've heard EM dashes were used in old book much. But most information is "new" right? New and degraded. But it also says that the EM dash is a safe thing to use bevause it can represent several other signs like dot and comma and so on.

Can't wait for the AI bubble to finally burst
