I'm convinced Microslop is now 100% staffed by vibecoders, because what PM/dev/CTO/etc... with ANY real-life experience, in their right fucking mind would approve to forcefully change every user's theme for VSCode to a new one?!

(I mean i know why, they are desperate for validation because they dont actually do any real work, so they went full manager mode and wanted to show off their new “dark 2026” theme by forcing everyone to look at it)

    Tbf this has nothing to do with vibe coding or AI slop.
    MS never had any issues with forcing crap onto users.

    No company in the entire world understands the concept of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" so instead we get constant change and price hikes

    users normalized their behaviour so they keep behaving

    but if you say you don't wanna use vs code in a technical discord you get the whole mod team brought down on you for being "political"... they killed my atom after taking over github and saying they won't kill it. lasted only a year! made to break your dreams and hopes

    I'm glad I don't have to use it. I've been testing Visual Studio 2026 for a while && I like it, thus far... Unfortunately I can't use it full-time, since most tools I need haven't been ported to it, yet.
