Lensflare2131426d@12bitfloat it was hard for me too but let’s face it: It‘s dead and it won’t come back. Time to pull the plug. -
jestdotty611326di went to a different social media
i'm not a developer anymore anyway. it never paid. just was abused and lied to on a constant basis. tbf i guess that's just humans but in this case I put in a whole lot of effort to then be insulted about it, which is worse than empty sales-man pitches because you put your blood, tears, and sweat to be told you're worthless and don't deserve the ability to live. you can't sleep when you want so, you can't schedule anything because they'll just override you, and every day they tell you how you must not be doing enough even though you're their whole tech department and all the tech people think you're too amazing to even predict. but you don't deserve to live. so the identity died -
whimsical174325d@jestdotty sounds like a beautiful rant for devplace.
What is a nicer place than a place you can request changes? Where webmasters actually listen and care?
@12bitfloat you have time enough because on dR it ain't happening anymore. We're left to die.
@Alice welcome! Hope you'll enjoy your stay.
But anyway, it goes well with the members of devplace but it should keep growing.
Also, don't forget that devplace is the best place for technews, it has more and more diverse news than any platform. It has more than a hundred sources and are all validated for quality by deepseek. Only 20% of news articles pass the review. You'll be never reading shit. -
Lensflare2131425d@whimsical personally I don’t give a damn about many of the features of devplace, like the news thing 😅
But I like how it improves on almost everything from devRant.
And with devplace we can shape it together.
Open source, contribution, and no features behind paywalls, like ++ subscriptions or theming. -
whimsical174325d@jestdotty you are people. On devplace are more people than dr atm. What do you mean with monetize? I won't. Devplace is running on resources I already have.
"I don't go there, not enough people" -> you are literally promoting reddit that way. Also, with that mentality you kill the distributed Internet.
My vision is kinda like how devRant was about a year ago. Maybe two. And then it's OK.
But still, you're spending time here, could've been on devplace where your friends are. I miss your "rants". -
whimsical174322d@jestdotty tell me one thing about devplace what is a mess, is it the perfect html output? The perfect copied design of the original devplace or the great responsiveness of the amazing performance and well structured native Web components?
Fine, I wish you much happiness and good luck. Always welcome. -
jestdotty611319d@devJs no but I did have a nasty Indian boss once who got me fired. so you could say I am considered beneath indians. yay. -
D-4got10-01280419dI'm pretty sure we've all had at least one retarded boss w/ idiotic takes that had been making our existences much, much worse.

Almost 50 tickets with user preferences fixed in devplace.net. We deliver.
@jestdotty / @12bitfloat why didn`t you join yet? It has only advantages.
