It's absolutely discrimination and by consent of the state. This, plus age and viewpoint discrimination, is why I own and operate my own business. I refuse to be beholden to HR assclowns trying to virtue signal their way into their next promotion.

So then I thought 'what about someone looking for working class jobs?' So I decided to focus on restaurants-servers, hosting, etc. Made a fake resume, and responded to craigslist ads with both male and female names. Sometimes the male went first, sometimes the female went first.

We have an intern older than I am and a junior as I am of course I don’t know everything. But i would usually hint him things he should/should not do based on the devs team process pr the dos and donts. But he doesn’t listen most of the time. Only does what I tell him when he’s out of option. He obviously thinks he’s better, he would ask for my help but wouldn’t acknowledge my answer. Rather he’ll spark an argument even cutting me when I’m explaining it nicely to him. I even asked if he badly wants to prove he is correct and I am wrong, I’ll go ahead and ask a more senior dev. Andddd of course he cut me and did not let me ask the senior dev. Then i told him he could do the query himself. Anddd mother fucker shut up bcos I was right. Didn’t even hear him apologize or at least say he was wrong or just be humble and accept it.
