I was very active here while I was studying, I had a drive of having a career in tech and I do. It's great and all, the path was very inspiring and motivating but I have reached the destination and I am here for some time. It is kinda depressing, @kiki 's 32gb ram picture actually made me log in because i related with this.

I guess one should also be looking for paths to pursue rather than destinations to stay. And I feel that it's not that easy either I see some people just getting on paths like... craft beer tasting or... some sport or something... which on it's own could be just a cope. But Pursuing them could open new branches of possibilities. New roads to be crossing.

So much so that I started to search for C++ jobs (going back to my previous background), even though I hate C++.
At least it's going to be more mentally stimulating, they also tend to be paid higher than Devops.

I have only been working with this open-source tool for 2 weeks, but already found 2 bugs. The maintainer is also nice enough answering questions quickly in the forum and submitting the issues for me.

It's nice to be able to contribute something to the open-source community. Yay for me! 💯

No big deal so far, but I had to spent more time to redo my work since Linux has no fucking recycle bin like Win!
So I created this helper function to give my brain a few seconds to think before my finger hit Enter.

So I moved from being the TL of a small team to a member of another team a month ago.

A dev from the old team sent me this today morning. He also sent some examples of what he found "cool", and tbh I'm pretty proud of those modules. I tried being very modest there, but I'm very happy 😅

So a colleague and me are coding a Text Editor in C, and since i was adding a few Themes today i was wondering, what y'all using in your go to Editors and IDEs? Maybe i could include a few slightly modified versions of these themes aswell (modified in the sense of adjusted config)

The Editor is called MOSSY Editor, if someone's interested. MOSSY was some abbreviation for Model Based Syntax, since it's python implementation used a full parse tree in the background.
